1. Installation issues

Many people do not know how to install it after purchasing. In fact, before purchasing, suppliers usually provide some prompts or explanations, and we only need to ask a few more questions before making a purchase. A conventional wired GPS locator usually only has two wires connected, with a red constant power and a black negative grounding.

　　2. Lack of data card

A data card is an indispensable part of the locator. Before purchasing, be sure to ask if you have a data card. If not, you need to purchase a data card yourself. High quality manufacturers' devices have built-in SMS response mechanisms. If you need to analyze problems, remote SMS can be sent to the device in the form of instructions. Therefore, you can ask again whether the data card can enable SMS function.

　　3. Locator online issue

The car GPS locator only goes online after installation. At this point, it is necessary to check if the constant power is connected. First, check the wiring issues, then check the equipment issues.

　　4. Offline issue with locator

It is likely that the platform owes fees, or the data card is overdue or expired. Re issuing the traffic card or having the supplier renew the fee platform can solve the problem. The sales slogan of all manufacturers is: lifetime free traffic, it is impossible. The traffic fee is generated annually.

　　5. Data card expiration

Pay attention to how long the data card can be used, and replace or renew it before expiration.

　　6. After a while, the equipment broke down.

The problems that occur after regular installation may be due to improper installation or equipment malfunction. At this point, the problem can be identified through the platform or SMS response.

　　7. Trajectory issue

The trajectory can generally be queried for 1-3 months to see the backend situation of different suppliers.

　　8. Inaccurate positioning

This is related to the positioning method. Generally, there will be some errors in the positioning of base stations, with an error range between 100 meters and 500 meters. The global GPS positioning system is usually less than 10 meters. Another important objective factor is that when the communication at the vehicle's location is poor and the number of GPS satellite searches is insufficient for positioning, GPS will record the last accurate location. When the vehicle moves, users will have feedback of "inaccurate positioning". In fact, once the vehicle reaches an area with a signal, the device will restart positioning.

　　9. Electronic fence

Electronic fences are generally implemented on platforms, and when a vehicle is located and a rule is triggered, there will be an alarm message.

　　10. Power outage alarm

Only devices with built-in batteries will have a power outage alarm.
