Since 1970, China's first artificial satellite was sent to the orbit, and 30 different satellites have been launched one after another, creating favorable conditions for New China's space measurement work. In the early 1980s, some universities and scientific research units in my country had begun to study GPS (global positioning system). In the past 10 years, my country has done a lot of work in the research and application development positioning of GPS surveying and mapping basic theory, and has accumulated a lot of experience.

In the mid -1980s, my country launched the first global positioning system receiver. So far, China has already owned thousands of GPS receivers. However, China's GPS application level is still very far from developed countries. There is an appointment with the development of China's GPS industry: backward, global positioning system receiver chip, China's semiconductor industry, which mainly rely on imports, China's current monitoring stations are very small, communication equipment, technology is not available, basic geographical information updates are updated Poor, unable to work well with the global positioning system electronic map.

Another important issue cannot be ignored. The United States has repeatedly emphasized that it will provide global positioning systems for free to the world, but in fact, some means, that is, artificially destroy the accuracy of signals and increase the error rate of the GPS signal. Therefore, other countries cannot accurately obtain accurate data. Chinese scientists have established global positioning system tracking stations in Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an and other places, and have performed accurate rails for GPS satellites to make the data more accurate. However, in the final analysis, we must have our own global positioning system, and we must develop and develop ourselves from satellite to receiving machines in order to make full use of the global positioning system in daily life to create more convenient and safer for the travel and tourism of the people in our country. environment of.

In recent years, private cars in many cities in China, such as Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan, and other cities have installed GPS monitoring systems. All tourist bus in Beijing has installed GPS global positioning systems. The GPS global positioning system is closer to our daily life.
