The so-called modeling refers to detecting the relationship between each change in the variable resistance of the fuel sensor and the change in fuel quantity, and then manually inputting the measured resistance value and corresponding fuel quantity in engineering mode and storing them in the model software, for the convenience of vehicles with the same model or fuel tank specifications. Therefore, the closer the variation pattern of the resistance value of the fuel sensor is to linearity (most of the resistance values of the fuel sensor change in a stepped pattern), the higher the accuracy of the measured fuel quantity.

It is required to have a full tank of fuel, install a fuel sensor, and connect the two terminals of the sensor in series with the positive and negative poles of the resistance meter (resistance measurement gear of the universal meter), regardless of the positive and negative poles.
