Precautions before installation

　　Before installation, open the mobile GPRS data service SIM card at the mobile company. The traffic used for normal operation of the device: 5-8M for monitoring once every 1 minute, 10-12M for monitoring once every 30 seconds, and the traffic billing unit is bytes.

　　Record the relevant vehicle information such as SIM card number and license plate number of the vehicle to be installed, and send it to the monitoring center for registration. If the monitoring center does not register, the system cannot monitor the vehicle.

　　Before using the GPS car terminal (hereinafter referred to as the car terminal), check whether the GPS car terminal, SIM card, GPS antenna, GPRS antenna, car handle, power cable, I/O extension cable, emergency alarm button, backup battery, relay, microphone, etc. are consistent with the customer's requirements configuration;

　　Before installing the GPS car terminal on site, in an indoor testing environment, connect the GPS car terminal and the complete set of accessories (which will be installed by the customer), and use a regulated power supply or backup battery to power the GPS car terminal to ensure that the GPS car terminal and all accessories can work properly;

　　Precautions for on-site installation

　　Firstly, check whether the car power supply voltage is normal and whether its voltage range matches the power supply voltage range of the GPS on-board terminal. When selecting the power supply, try to choose the main power supply of the car (directly connected to the battery power cord);

　　When selecting the installation location of the GPS car terminal, try to stay away from the car's electronic devices and other heat source devices, especially wireless devices and high-power electronic devices, and install them firmly to avoid long-term damage to the GPS car terminal caused by large vibrations;

　　The antenna is an all-weather product that can be installed in suitable positions inside and outside the vehicle. When installed externally, it can be directly attracted to the metal roof by the magnetic suction at the bottom of the antenna. When installing in a concealed manner, it is recommended to install it under the cover of the plastic cover plate on the front dashboard, the back of the trunk cover plate, or other plastic objects. Pay attention to the GPS antenna having a certain visible sky range and not being obstructed by metal shells, coated glass objects, etc. The lead part of the antenna should be securely fixed and not loose, and should not be squeezed by movable objects such as door gaps to prevent breakage.

　　Do not plug or unplug SIM cards with power to avoid burning them.
