COGPS in the UK is jointly managed by the Surveying and Mapping Bureau, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Meteorological Bureau, the Department of Agriculture, and the Marine Laboratory. At present, there are nearly 30 GPS continuous operation stations. The future plan is to expand the COGPS system and establish a center, whose main task is to transmit, provide, archive, process, and analyze GPS data from each station.
