The size of the GPS screen is a bit of a "face project". From 3.5 inches to 7 inches, how big is the navigator to choose? First, let's compare the advantages and disadvantages of different screens.

　　1. How big is your windshield?

The size of the windshield is actually an important factor in determining which screen you need to buy. If you are driving a car with a small space, for driving safety, the author recommends that you choose a screen with a size of about 3.5 inches or 4.3 inches. If you drive an ordinary sedan, you can have a 4.3- to 5.0-inch screen. However, due to the different models of each car, the size of the windshield will also vary, generally choosing a 4.7 or 5.0-inch GPS navigator is the most appropriate.

　　2. GPS power consumption problem

The problem of GPS power consumption cannot be regarded as an important factor in deciding to buy a navigator. After all, in our daily driving, most navigators are directly connected to the cigarette lighter for power supply, and few navigators forget to bring the power interface. Sudden power outage. However, the power consumption of a GPS navigator is not only determined by the CPU frequency, but also related to the size of the screen. Generally speaking, the larger the screen, the more power is consumed, and the navigation product with a small screen will last longer for power. Here, we want to associate the GPS power consumption with the selection of the screen size, which completely needs to be determined according to the car owner's car habits.

　　3. Whether the screen is bigger and clearer

We often say that the clarity of navigation products is related to the screen resolution. If the screen is large and the resolution is low, the visual effect will still not be clear. Therefore, it is not a wise move to blindly pursue a large screen, and if you want to buy a high-definition product, let's take a look at the second condition for purchasing a GPS navigator: resolution.

Summary: In terms of practicality, if you want to take into account both entertainment and navigation, it is enough to choose a 4.7-inch or 5.0-inch navigation product, but if your car itself has limitations, for example, the interior space is too small, For driving safety and not blocking the line of sight, the author recommends that you buy a navigation product below 4.3 inches is more suitable. If you have strong requirements for entertainment functions (audio/video, games, etc.), of course, only a 7-inch large screen can meet it. However, in general, a 4.7 or 5.0-inch screen is the most suitable.
