GPS is the abbreviation of Global Positioning System, which means global positioning system. It is a huge cosmic and aerospace project implemented by the US government after more than 20 years and costing 12 billion US dollars. The system can provide information to ground targets on a global scale around the clock, so as to determine the target's precise position, speed, operational aspects and other parameters on the ground.

GPS positioning artificial sanitation is composed of 24 artificial satellites flying at an altitude of 26,560 kilometers above the ground. Each satellite orbits the ball for about 12 hours, and is divided into 6 orbital planes with an oblique angle of 55 degrees, covering three earth surfaces. . Each satellite continuously transmits digital signals to the earth, and GPS users on the ground calculate their position (longitude, latitude and altitude), speed and operation on the earth by receiving signals from more than 4 satellites at the same time.

The GPS system provides two positioning services, P code and C/A code. P code provides precise positioning service, which is specially used by the military. C/A code provides standard positioning service for non-military purposes such as navigation and vehicle navigation. For civilian positioning services, the positioning accuracy provided by the system is 25 meters, but when human interference is added (the SA policy of the US government), the positioning accuracy becomes 100 meters.

Now, people are more and more aware of the importance of GPS and its broad application fields. In addition to military applications, it has been widely used in many fields such as aerospace, aviation, navigation, surveying, and exploration. With the price of GPS receiving boards The continuous decline of GPS and the continuous improvement of its performance, the application of GPS system in car anti-theft is more and more common. When the car is stolen, the GPS system can continuously provide the location of the stolen vehicle, so as to cooperate with the police to quickly dispatch the police and fight crime. For example: Ronaldo, the world-famous star currently playing for the Italian Inter Milan team, was robbed by five armed robbers while driving his beloved BMW while on vacation in Rio de Janeiro. Fortunately, Ronaldo's BMW was equipped with a satellite positioning system. Within an hour, the stolen car was returned to its original owner.
