The use of car GPS positioner is becoming more and more extensive, especially for drivers and friends must be familiar with. Many friends want to know whether the GPS positioner can work properly in harsh environments. Under normal circumstances, normal electronic products will affect the normal operation of the equipment when the temperature rises or decreases. Let ’s take a look at the work of the car GPS positioner in a special environment with the editor of the connected GPS positioning management platform with Yimi Mi.

As in winter, some electronic devices will not be able to charge, so the GPS locator working outdoors is also affected by environmental factors. The acceptable range of the positioner in a low temperature environment is -20-70 degrees, and many people feel that this is unreasonable because it will not be so high at room temperature. In fact, such a temperature range only means that the GPS positioner can maintain its work, but it may not be able to achieve the best working state. In the winter of the northern hemisphere, minus 20 degrees is also very common, let alone the temperature will be reduced in some harsh environments. In summer, it is impossible to ensure that the vehicle is parked at a cool parking lot at a time. It only needs to be outdoors, and the temperature inside the car is higher than the outside, let alone the car that is directly exposed to the sun. Stabilizing the surrounding temperature at 15-35 ° C is the best condition suitable for the continuous work of GPS positioner.

If the above two weather conditions occur, and the positioner is still placed outside the car, such as the bumper in the trunk of the car, there is a greater restriction on vehicles that are directly exposed to the environment. If the operating temperature of the GPS positioner exceeds the allowable value, it is automatically closed and stopped working to protect the parts of the device without automatic damage to the device. Some people often ask if the exposure positioner will explode? The burst of the GPS positioner is mostly caused by line failure, and the wiring error causes the various components of the equipment to change and collide. If your GPS positioner is placed correctly, it will not be the case at all. Similarly, the low temperature environment is the same.

In harsh environments, whether the car GPS positioner can work properly depends on the specific situation. Under the severe weather conditions, whether the GPS positioner can work properly under bad weather conditions, not only should we consider the environmental temperature, but also Consider the signal receiving of the thunderstorm weather to the GPS positioner. If the weather is too bad, it is recommended that you go out as little as possible. Of course, you should also pay attention to the placement environment and wiring method of the GPS positioner.
