Many friends often consult the difference between GPS chips when they buy GPS. My younger brother also searched and sorted out a copy on the Internet for your reference. For the shortcomings, please add:

　　(1).SiRF starIIe:

　　a. LP: Low power, those without LP are rarely used. Sensitivity: -145dBm, still consumes power after positioning, such as HOLUX GM-210.

　　b. Xtrac V1: High sensitivity f/w, Sensitivity is higher than starIIe/LP, same hardware. Such as HOLUX 270U

　　c. Xtrac V2: Correct the shortcoming of V1 version that is easy to drift, the signal is closer to reality, such as HAICOM's 303S, HOLUX 231, MINI GPS

　　(2).SiRF starIII:

Sensitivity: -159dBm (measured about -154dBm), although the built-in correlator is 220,000 pieces, it may not consume more power because the process is changed from 0.18u to 0.13u. Such as HOLUX 236, HAICOM's new Bluetooth GPS, Huantian 338, Leadtek 9553

　　(3).Sony single chip solution CXD2951:

SONY's third-generation chip, only they are packaged together with RF and baseband, Sensitivity: -152dBm.

　　(4). Nemerix NJ1006 (RF) + NJ1030 (Baseband)

Sensitivity : -147dBm, power saving king, GOPASS GPT-700 using this chip, 850AMH lithium battery has a performance of 20 hours.

　　(5). Evermore:

Taiwan's local IC, cost-effective, using this chip HAICOM 303E, the performance is better than HOLUX 270U

　　(6) RFMD:

Micro Devices (RFMD) the industry's first highly integrated Bluetooth/GPS solution - RF8900, the design integrates Bluetooth communication and GPS technology in a complete system. It is said that the product can reduce the size by 20% and reduce the cost by 25% compared with similar products. It is rumored that RIKALINE's 6033 will use this chip

　　(7). Garmin:

Old brand, good credit. The boss is a Taiwanese, researching and developing American made Taiwan, and his boss is also among the 500 richest people in the world. Handheld GPS such as GARMIN
