  The drone doesn't have its own coordinates and most likely won't be able to return to base and crash. Extensive experiments have shown that if the area that the drone will scout is jungle terrain, it will be impossible to find targets in the woods. Even when the leaves are falling in winter, a large animal like a moose can be hard to spot from a slow-flying helicopter if it doesn't move. It's no accident that drone ads in the West are set against the backdrop of unforested terrain like Iraq and Afghanistan.

  So is the GPS tracker signal jammer the final terminator of UAVs? The answer is no, UAVs can take advantage of their strengths and circumvent weaknesses and show their talents in some combat operations.

  UAVs are especially suitable as carriers of electronic warfare equipment to deal with various radio technology weapons. If the carrier-based aircraft that are returning to the aircraft carrier become "deaf" and "blind", they will not be able to land on the aircraft carrier deck in time, and will eventually crash due to exhaustion of fuel.

  And it only takes a few drones to carry seven electronic jamming devices to patrol the sea area where the aircraft carrier is located to complete this task. UAVs carrying these seven electronic jamming devices can suppress all on-board orientation systems of carrier-based aircraft except inertial navigation systems.

  Due to the accumulation of large errors during the execution of combat missions, the inertial navigation system cannot ensure that the carrier-based aircraft land on the aircraft carrier, especially when a dense GPS tracker signal interference field is established in the flight operation area.

  The idea of paralyzing aircraft carrier operations with drones was first proposed by a Russian company at the Paris Air Show in 2007, and the equipment to realize this idea was exhibited. This shocked the U.S. delegates and the staff of the U.S. embassy in France who participated in the exhibition, because if this idea is realized, the aircraft carrier battle group, the "second leg" of U.S. military strength, will be cut off.   So, how will the UAV without GPS tracker be oriented and return to its base? In this case, the navigation accuracy of the airborne inertial navigation system can fully ensure that the UAV will reach the airspace not far from the target, And there is no need for high navigational accuracy during patrols where jamming is cast.

  After completing the task, even if the inertial navigation system has accumulated a certain error, the UAV can still enter another airspace with a radius of tens of kilometers, and in this airspace, there will be another local navigation system installed in the landing area to guide the UAV. aircraft landing.
