The Beidou satellite navigation system has brought new hope to domestic navigation, and Chinese people have paid great attention to its development. The Beidou satellite has been continuously improved and developed. On the one hand, it is compatible with the GPS navigation system of the United States, and can be switched for use without obstacles. On the other hand, in the coverage blind spots of some GPS navigation systems, the Beidou satellite navigation system basically has no blind spots and improves the positioning accuracy.

However, in the face of GPS's monopoly over the years, the development of Beidou depends more on innovative commercial applications in addition to technological progress. More and more people are feeling the creative changes that technology has brought to life. The development of Beidou must be a change that can bring more convenience and more intelligence to people's lives.

Satellite watches from military to civilian

The high precision of Beidou gives it a significant advantage in the field of satellite watches. In modern times, basic industries such as communication, electric power, and transportation have higher and higher requirements for timing systems, and the accuracy of timing represents the significance of absolute safety.

Previously, there were only two satellite watches in the world, Seiko and Citizen, whose timing accuracy has reached the nanosecond level. Beidou is the third company to launch satellite watches, and its products use the Beidou second-generation navigation satellite time service independently developed by my country.

The company that developed this watch, Chengdu Tianao Electronics Co., Ltd., has been committed to the development of the Beidou satellite timing terminal since 2008. It took three years to finally develop the first piece in China to receive the "Beidou II" satellite timing signal. watch. The watch passed the joint appraisal of the Surveying and Mapping Bureau of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, and was awarded the title of "Military Standard Timetable", becoming the only Chinese military watch recognized by the Chinese military.

In addition to the distribution of the military, Beidou satellite watches have been put into the civilian market and can be used in engineering construction, outdoor activities, tourism adventures and other fields. For China, this is also a launch of the Beidou satellite navigation system application.
