In recent years, in order to further enhance the competitiveness of GPS in the global civil navigation market, the US government has put forward new requirements. UU. It has decided to make important adjustments to the civil GPS signal and introduce three new civil signals L2C and L1C, L5. Among them, L2C was put into use for the first time. The Block IIR-M 2012 satellite launched in September 2005 was first broadcast; the Block IIF launched by L5 in 2007 was only used; L1C later appeared, and later improved with the GPS III generation. The content will eventually replace the existing L1 C/A signal.
The first -generation civilian signal transmitted by Block II/IIA/TIR satellite is a single -frequency C/A code transmitted on L1 carrier. The frequency band range L1 is 1575.42 MHz ± 1.023 MHz.
The second -generation civilian signal was sent to the M satellite with Block IIR. It includes not only the first -generation civilian signal, but also adds the L2C signal to the carriers L2. The range of the L2 frequency band is 1227.60MHz ± 1.023MHz, which was specifically targeted at the early days.
The third -generation civilian signal was sent by Block IIF satellite. The satellite added L5 carrier to send L5 civilian signals to send L5 civilian signals according to the second -generation civilian signal. The frequency band range L5 is 1176.45 MHz ± 1.023 MHz.
The fourth -generation civilian signal was sent with III satellites. On the basis of the third -generation civilian signal, the civil signals on the carrier L1 were improved, and the new L1C was used to replace the primitive civilian signal on L1.
