　　Vehicle trajectory is a record of vehicle motion data, including location, date, time, speed, etc. For vehicles equipped with GPS positioning management systems, the vehicle's driving dynamics playback can be viewed at any time on software platforms on both computer and mobile devices. Various data such as the driving area, speed, and parking time of the car can be easily grasped at any time.

　　The GPS platform can actively record the vehicle's movement trajectory and save it for about 6 months. When the car owner needs it, they can retrieve the vehicle's driving trajectory within the past 6 months for viewing at any time.

　　But if you want the GPS locator to not leave a trajectory, there is only one measure, which is manual interference with the locator, affecting its normal operation. For example, turn it off or remove the built-in SIM card. Make the locator not work, so as not to leave the trajectory of the vehicle. If you need to work again, you can restart or insert the SIM card again.

　　The platform records saved motion trajectories and does not support manual deletion. Due to national policies, the GPS positioning industry needs to support the provision of vehicle travel records for nearly 180 days. For special industries, even longer periods of time, records should be kept for one to three years. When the retention period is reached, the system will automatically clear the historical records.

　　In addition, on the platform, sometimes one of the driving trajectories may be seen as a straight line, which is inconsistent with the front and rear trajectories. There may be four reasons:

　　1. The installation position of the GPS locator is not appropriate, it is too close to the metal plate;

　　2. Weak GPS signal in the location (dense buildings or highway sections);

　　3. Check the wiring, confirm that the vehicle is running, turned off, and the equipment is powered on normally;

　　If the device hardware fails and the device restarts from scratch during use, the device positioning data will be lost and needs to be returned to the factory for processing.
