According to Article 3 of Chapter 1 of Order No. 5 of the Three Ministries and Commissions, the term "road transport vehicles" referred to in these Measures includes passenger vehicles, dangerous goods transport vehicles used for road operations Semi trailer tractors and heavy-duty trucks (ordinary freight vehicles with a total mass of 12 tons or more) need to be equipped with GPS Beidou satellite positioning vehicle travel recorders (hereinafter referred to as Beidou recorders) and connected to the National Road Freight Vehicle Public Supervision and Service Platform (hereinafter referred to as the National Freight Platform). The driver's ID card is used to identify the driver's identity information. The driver needs to insert the IC card to enter the work position and drive a large truck.
The basic information of the driver's ID IC card includes the driver's name, driver's license number, driver code, etc. Depending on the information read by different manufacturers' Beidou recorders, some may also include the driver's license issuing unit, validity period, etc.
According to the requirements, if the driver of a large truck does not match the information on the driver's card, a fine ranging from 1000 yuan to 3000 yuan will be imposed. Therefore, the owner and driver of the truck are advised to be cautious. If there are situations such as changing the driver, it is necessary to replace the ID card or rewrite the ID card information.
Driver ID cards are divided into two types: large chip cards and small chip cards. Different cards cannot be used on some Beidou recorders. Therefore, if a driver is on duty with a card, it is necessary to print a driving ticket to check if the information is incorrect
