Dongfang.com news on March 23: In the past, clothing pursued color fashion and novel styles, and now smart elements are beginning to be sought after by more and more people. At the 16th Shanghai International Clothing Textile Trade Expo recently held, a set of intelligent firefighting clothing with GPS positioning and life signs detection has attracted the attention of visitors and has become a highlight of the expo.

The reporter learned that smart clothing is a cutting -edge topic for the textile industry. The research team of Donghua University began the research of smart clothing 5 years ago. This set of smart firefighters is exactly the new variety they develop and develop. In addition to the fire prevention, heat insulation, and high temperature resistance, the protective clothing adds a lot of intelligent design. For example, installing sensors on smart clothes, by monitoring various life characteristics such as human heart, blood pressure, and body temperature, real -time monitoring of human physiological signals can be achieved, providing emergency assistance services for firefighters. In addition, the intelligent protective service also has the GPS positioning function. Through signal tracking, the monitoring command center can quickly and accurately determine the real -time location of the firefighters, and then make effective command judgments to guide firefighters along the accurate route.

The innovative and improved new firefighting uniforms are more humanized. The use of new technologies to ensure the safety of firefighters, but also improves the work efficiency of firefighters. Wang Hua, a professor at the School of Textile of Donghua University, also said that if the signal is unstable, the sensor will be difficult to complete the task of "distant perception", so in order to solve this problem, they are still doing further technical research.

In addition, Professor Wang also told reporters that during the World Expo, several new smart clothing produced by their teams will also be released fresh and strive to serve the Expo. Among them, there is a plainclothes police intelligent service that combines recording, camera, GPS positioning and other functions, etc., which is expected to become a good helper for World Expo.
