The logistics tracking and monitoring adopts the ASP mode, and the platform is deployed at the telecom end. Logistics enterprise customers do not need to invest in the construction and maintenance of expensive GPS, GIS, monitoring software, database and other software, as well as computer rooms and related equipment, servers, storage, backup equipment, routers and other hardware. Specifically, it has the following advantages:

Reduce costs. Real time monitoring of vehicle location, status and driving route can reduce fuel consumption, control driving route and time, and prevent drivers from detouring, carrying goods without permission and stealing fuel.

Strengthen safety management. Monitor and ensure the safety of vehicles, drivers and goods, alarm handling of abnormal and unexpected conditions and remote control of vehicles (such as cutting off oil lines, circuits, etc.); Warnings shall be given and forced treatment shall be carried out for dangerous situations such as overspeed and fatigue driving.

Improve resource utilization. Through the real-time monitoring and scheduling of vehicles, the vehicles flowing in different places become transparent and controllable, and the utilization rate of vehicles is improved.

Improve customer service. Providing value-added services for partners and customers of logistics companies, and providing real-time monitoring and query of the location of logistics vehicles, goods handover time, vehicle status and other information, can significantly improve customer service quality and customer satisfaction.

From the perspective of macro development trend, the logistics tracking and monitoring application is one of the hot spots in the logistics industry in the next few years, with a relatively broad market space. The telecom operators have good basic service capabilities in this field, and the products they provide can provide a strong information guarantee for the logistics industry, which is one of the important driving forces to promote the development of this application.
