In fact, location positioning can be roughly divided into two categories: GPS (Global Positioning System, global positioning system) and LBS (LBS--Location Based Service, mobile location service).
As far as the technical principle is concerned, the GPS tracker performs positioning by accepting the latitude and longitude coordinate signals provided by the GPS satellite, while the LBS calculates the location of the mobile phone through the difference of the base station signal of the mobile communication.
In theory, LBS can determine the location of the mobile phone by calculating the signal difference of the three base stations.
Therefore, as long as the user's mobile phone is within the effective range of the mobile communication network, location positioning can be performed at any time without being affected by weather, tall buildings, locations, and the like.
