Galileo is a satellite positioning system under construction in the European Union, and is the only global satellite navigation and positioning system in the world that has been based on civilian use since its inception. 　　The Beidou Navigation and Positioning System is a development plan proposed by China in the 1980s for the "Double Satellite Rapid Positioning System". The plan was proposed in 1983, marking the establishment of the first generation of independent and autonomous navigation and positioning system in China. On May 25, 2003, the successful launch of the third Beidou satellite resulted in the completion of a complete satellite navigation system, ensuring real-time satellite navigation and positioning services around the clock. So far, a total of 32 Beidou satellites have been involved in operation, of which three are backup satellites. Mainly providing military services, the civilian aspect has gradually penetrated into it, with a maximum theoretical positioning accuracy of 0.1 meters.
